If you do one thing on this Wednesday before the long holiday weekend, it should be flipping through all 18 of Gucci‘s ad images for the Fall/Winter 2016 collection.

The buzzing backdrop of Tokyo perfectly plays off the electric designs by Alessandro Michele. Photographer Glen Luchford captured a cadre of models, including Sofia Friesen, Lia PavlovaJoep Van De Sande and Yan Kumral, plus Gucci girl Petra Collins for the campaign. As Fashionista pointed out, the images take on a bit of a Lost in Translation feel, thanks to the seemingly clueless attitude of the pictures, coupled with subtitles that add depth to the simple poses.

In one image, a plush pink fur coat competes for attention with cherry blossoms while a tuxedoed homme dances about, boombox in tow. And in one shot, graphic black and white shoes step all over a motorcycle. Basically, Michele has created a visually stimulating world that we’d all like to live in.
