George Clooney
George Clooney, born in 1961, is an American actor, director, producer, and philanthropist. Clooney has received two Academy Awards: one for Best Supporting Actor in "Syriana" (2005) and another as a producer for Best Picture for "Argo" (2012). He gained fame for his role on the medical drama "ER" before making taking on film with roles in "Ocean's Eleven" (2001), "Up in the Air" (2009) and "The Descendants" (2011). Clooney is also noted for his political and economic activism, including humanitarian work in Darfur, and for his involvement in efforts to address the 2021 Haiti earthquake and the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
