Seattle Art Museum

The Seattle Art Museum (SAM), founded in 1933 by Dr. Richard E. Fuller, is located in Seattle, Washington. SAM is known for its diverse collection that spans global cultures and historical periods, featuring works by renowned artists such as Alexander Calder, Jacob Lawrence and Yayoi Kusama. The museum operates three major facilities: the main museum downtown, the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park, and the Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront.
